DownloadOnly paid up card holding members are eligible for food and beverage rebates.
All members must abide by the club rules and constitution.
Juniors will fall under their parents’ membership until they reach the age of eighteen (18) and will be a member until the clubs financial year end.
All spouses and children are automatic members of the above club and can enjoy all facilities but do not qualify to vote.
Members may not loan their cards to family and friends for discounts, and will have their card removed and cancelled if caught doing so.
The member will be responsible for their spouses and children’s actions.
A member living in common law for more than six (6) months with a partner may enjoy the same facilities as in (4) and (5).
A member must at all times when representing the above club be on his/her best behaviour as an Ambassador of the club.
No persons under the age of eighteen (18) may be in the bar.
Bad language will not be tolerated in the bar.
TIMES: 10.00hrs to 23.00hrs Monday to Sunday.
All spouses andDress code will be smart casual after 19.00hrs i.e. smart slops/sandals, shorts or slacks, tracksuits, smart casual shirts or golf shirts, (no vest like shirts).
You may sign on the same guest/guests only twice in one month. When signing in guest/guests you may not leave them unattended and they must leave when you leave. You will be held responsible for their behaviour.
No glasses or liquor may leave the club premises. No alcohol or beverages may be brought onto the premises from elsewhere.
All transactions must be cash/credit card, or arrangements must be made with the club Secretary and Treasurer.
Males must not wear hats when entering the bar.
No persons undMembers must keep their club house clean at all times.
Children under the age of twelve (12) years must be in attendance with their parents or a responsible person.
NO dogs allowed on the premises.
NO smoking in the restaurant area or under the tent.
Please help by bringing in used glasses, bottles, chairs etc. after you have used them.
Members must wash off beach sand before entering the swimming pool. If the creepy crawly is removed from the pool, please replace it in the pool before leaving.
Members are asked to reprimand any member or non-member disobeying any of the above rules.
There is a complaints book in the bar where you may enter your complaint, which will be attended to at the next monthly Executive Committee meeting.
PLEASE leave the toilets clean and advise the barman on duty if dirty or no toiletries.
Members’ boats must carry a current seaworthy disc before going to sea.
Boat numbers belong to the Club and may only be used by Paid-Up Full Members.
TIMES: 10.00hrs to 23.00hrs MMembers must be in possession of a current skipper ticket before skipping a boat, or be accompanied by a qualified skipper.
Life jackets must be worn when entering and exiting the sea.
Boat engines may be warmed up at the taps provided by the Ray Nkonyeni Municipality.
Skippers must sign indemnity forms supplied by the Ray Nkonyeni Municipality, in the control tower before launching.
Members to try and assist other ski-boaters in the sport of angling, on and off the beach.
Members to abide by the Ray Nkonyeni Municipality by-laws.

CHART VIEW OF PROTEA BANKS MARINE PROTECTED AREA
PROTEA BANKS RESTRICTED ZONE – PRZ - (NO FISHING ACTIVITIES)
This area comprises the offshore portion of Protea Banks Marine Protected Area and is defined as the area within straight lines joining the following points : E, L, M, B, C, D with the line linking D and E lying adjacent to the offshore boundary of the existing Trafalgar Marine Protected Area, following a line one nautical mile from the high water mark, and joing the first co-ordinate to the last. This includes Mzimkhulu Canyon north of Protea Banks.
PROTEA BANKS CONTROLLED PELAGIC LINEFISH ZONE – PCPLZ – (GAMEFISH ONLY)
This area comprises the central portion of the Protea Banks Marine Protected Area and is defined as the area within straight lines sequentially joining the following points : G, H, I, J, K, L and joining the last co-ordinate to the first. This includes the Vungu Canyon and large portion of Protea Banks. Fish permitted to be caught only as per Annexure 2 below.
PROTEA BANKS CONTROLLED ZONE – PCZ – (GAMEFISH AND BOTTOMFISH)
This area comprises the remaining section of the Protea Banks Marine Protected Area and is defined as the area within straight lines joining the following points : F, A, M, K, J, I, H, G and a straight line joining the last co-ordinate with the first.
